Our Story

A neighborhood

The Planet Lounge lives on NE 79th Street in Miami's Upper East Side — a block where people still stop to say hello and stay because the bread is worth it. We opened with a simple idea: bake properly, stock thoughtfully, and treat every customer like a neighbor.

Our ovens run early. Our shelves are filled with products we'd actually eat at home. And the people behind the counter know the difference between a good croissant and a great one — because they spend their days making sure it's the latter.

What We Do

Artisan Breads

Sourdough, ciabatta, focaccia — each loaf ferments slowly, develops its crust properly, and tastes like bread should. We don't rush the process.

Handcrafted Pastries

Croissants with real butter, laminated properly. Tarts, danishes, and seasonal specials that arrive fresh and disappear faster than they should.

Oils, vinegars, pantry staples, and imported finds — each shelf curated to complement what comes out of our ovens and support real meals at home.
